As a cofounder of Google, Sergey Brin has already done lots of very good things for the world on a macro scale.

He's given us a great technology that makes the Internet usable, created a company that provides jobs for tens of thousands of people, and donated millions to various charities. He's investing in genetic cures for diseases and space exploration, too.

With it, Brin is buying up downtown property in the small Silicon Valley town he lives in, and is renting it out at below market rates to stores...

The $4,800 monster Tasmanian Crab! (not photoshopped)


Here is a crab that is probably the world's largest.

The Monster Tasmanian Crab has a rather flaccid name 'Claude' and was found off the shores of the eponymous island below Australia. The crab was on his way to an industrial-size steamer but was saved by a British aquarium, which purchased him for $4,800.

Mt. Wilson in the Fall
Telluride, Colorado

Without a doubt, Fall in Colorado is my favorite time of the year. While I am fortunate to photograph locations all over this planet, I ALWAYS try to make time to shoot the fall colors in the Rockies. This photo is of Mt. Wilson and was taken as an epic storm blew through the the Telluride Valley last year. Surprisingly I had 3g service in this location and actually hosted a live Google+ Hangout while I took this photograph...something I am planning on doing...
